What we are looking for

We are actively seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Client Service Officer to join our Client Service team at TradeXBank AG in Zurich. Following the sale of the former Sberbank (Switzerland) AG in early September 2022, the bank was renamed TradeXBank AG. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of the bank's transformation, as we rebuild and revitalize our Commodity Trade Finance (CTF) franchise. We are looking for a dynamic person with good problem-solving skills, well organised, structured, team player who will be committed to the service of clients and internal stakeholders alike. The candidate will be required to cover all aspects of the client lifecycle.

Your responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional service to all clients and stakeholders of the bank across all products
  • Collect and verify client KYC documents adhering to company, compliance and legal regulations
  • Direct communication with prospects in the account opening phase to obtain required information and assist in their queries
  • Onboard and off-board clients, ensuring all details and records are entered/removed correctly in banking systems
  • Deal with day to day queries from existing clients within established deadlines and existing policies ensuring adherence to all Internal controls
  • Manage the client account lifecycle as well as administration of client’s data within the core banking systems
  • First line of defence for all client payments through sanctions checking
  • Manage and update corporate and financial institution’s SSIs and static data
  • Maintain client records both physically and electronically
  • Ensure all controls are followed in relation to the team's processes and procedures
  • Derive/update processes, procedures and metrics
  • Process client manual payments/FX transactions – identify and verify clients and client details
  • Manage compliance and settlement queries on payments
  • Deal with e-banking queries and issues as well as yearly preparation of customer profile review
Your profile
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar customer/client facing role within a bank or financial institution
  • Strong understanding of the end to end KYC and client on-boarding processes
  • Excellent Knowledge of and full understanding of AML/KYC/CDB regulations and industry guidelines
  • Experience with compliance requirements for onboarding and KYC
  • Strong interpersonal and excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently
  • High level of attention to detail and quality
  • Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines under pressure
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Avaloq experience would be an advantage
  • Fluent in German and English, other languages are a plus
  • Swiss/EU passport or valid Swiss work permit
